Procedures for Approval of Permanent Representative Office Established in Shanghai by Foreign Official Tourism Departments

Qualifications of the Applicant:
The traveling representative office, offices, general affairs offices, liaison offices or offices under other names established by foreign official tourism departments shall be treated as permanent representative office.
Procedures:
Foreign official tourism departments applying for the establishment of permanent representative offices in Shanghai shall submit the following documents and materials:
1. Letter of application (original) signed by the person in charge of its official tourism department and applied with official seal including its name, numbers of representatives, duties and functions, and city of residence, etc.;
2. Original of the certificate of authorizing representatives of the office issued by its official tourism department and the resume, photos and identity credentials of all the members.
3. After accepting the relevant documents, Shanghai Municipal Tourism Administrative Commission shall submit them to the National Tourism Administration for approval. ĦĦĦĦ
